A mom worried for her queer kids under Trump 2.0 makes a drastic plea to them

A gay author went viral on Threads last week with a post she made about her mom.

Liz Arncliffe writes lesbian romantic fiction. She, like so many others, has concerns over actions taken by Trump since he returned to office last month. Arncliffe says those concerns are shared by her mom.

“I’m a lesbian. My brother is a trans man,” Arncliffe wrote. “Last night, my 70 year old mother begged me to take my brother to another country and never return. She was shaking with fear. My mother pleaded with me to get us to safety and never come home. She would give us both up if it meant we were safe.
