Ben Whishaw on the big challenge of playing gay photographer Peter Hujar in new movie

Ben Whishaw had 55 pages of dialogue to learn for his new movie while his co-lead, Rebecca Hall had just three.
The film, Peter Hujar’s Day, is about the celebrated gay photographer of the same name. Whishaw plays the role of Hujar, who died in 1987 of AIDS-related illness.
The movie received its premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival on Monday.
