Branden Jacobs-Jenkins wins Pulitzer Prize for his critically acclaimed Broadway play ‘Purpose’

First the Time 100 and then the Tony nominations, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins has reached yet another significant milestone in his career winning the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play Purpose.
The Brooklyn-based playwrights Pulitzer win was announced on May 5 — just a few months after Purpose‘s Broadway debut on March 17.
