Journalism is under attack in President Trump’s reign of terror, erasure, and misinformation.

While we watch, media companies move from objective truth-tellers to propaganda platforms owned by billionaires, the fight for authenticity and democracy is weighing in the balance. 

But at the end of the day, Black Boy Joy will always reign supreme. 

It was a pleasant piece of news this week when MSNBC announced its revamped “The Weekend” show would be hosted by two prominent Black queer journalists — Jonathan Capehart and Eugene Daniels. Jackie Alemany will join the duo to complete the show’s host roster.
