Capitol Rioter Who Asked Judge To Let Her Take Mexican Vacation Hit With 5 New Charges: Report

A Texas woman charged in connection with the Capitol insurrection who has asked a federal judge to let her travel to Mexico for a “work-related bonding retreat” was hit with five additional criminal charges this week.

In a newly unsealed grand jury indictment, prosecutors charged Jenny Cudd of Midland, Texas, with corruptly obstructing an official proceeding of Congress; entering and remaining in a restricted building; committing disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building; committing disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.
