Janet Mock says ‘f**k Hollywood’ in explosive Pose premiere speech: ‘You have stomped on us’
In an explosive rant that reportedly left colleagues and bosses scorched, Pose writer Janet Mock tore into Hollywood for its treatment of trans talent.
Mock, who also served as the director and executive producer of the iconic FX drama, launched into a 15-minute-long speech at the premiere party for Pose season three Thursday night (29 April).
Careening off script, the 38-year-old ignited tinderbox issues of pay, authentic representation in the media and even infidelity. Questioning why the network isn’t paying her more as well as dragging the episodes of the series written by men.
Rattling off her list of grievances, the outspoken bestselling author also alleged that she has slept with someone in the show’s crew and pleaded for her partner Pose actor, Angel Bismark Curiel, not to leave her.
