Jonathan Parks-Ramage shares the five queer books that blew his effing mind
Jonathan Parks-Ramage‘s latest novel It’s Not The End of the World hits bookstores this week. The futurist climate thriller, set in Los Angeles in the year 2044, follows a wealthy gay couple living in complete denial about an apocalyptic event threatening their city. The novel offers a vicious takedown of the uber-wealthy and a scathing critique of what authoritarianism, extremism, and climate inaction does to a society. Think HBO’s The Last Of Us meets the 2021 film Don’t Look Up from the imagination of the acclaimed author of Yes, Daddy and co-creator of the Off-Broadway hit Big Gay Jamboree.
