Since its inception in 2016, the Native Son Awards has stood as a beacon of recognition and celebration for Black queer men who are plotting visionary paths of creativity, activism, and innovation.
The Native Son Awards aims to honor individuals who are mavericks in their lives and have made significant contributions in fields like media, entertainment, business, policy and beyond. Past honorees include trailblazers such as Don Lemon, Billy Porter, Darren Walker, and Law Roach.
