Nava Mau dishes on her stunning new short film, what she learned from ‘Baby Reindeer’ & ‘Queer As Folk’

It was just the other week that Nava Mau attended the Peabody Awards on behalf of Baby Reindeer—the limited series’ final awards ceremony of many—capping off a whirlwind 14 months since the show dropped on Netflix and became a worldwide word-of-mouth smash.
It’s fair to say that, among its many other accomplishments, Baby Reindeer catapulted Mau to the global stage, introducing audiences everywhere to the trans actress who imbued Teri with such grit and spirit.
