Thanksgiving is a time for family—and we don’t necessarily mean that as a good thing.

For some, an extended meal with your biological family can be quite a nightmare, especially when there are disagreements regarding politics, religion, society… see where we’re going here? That’s why it’s so important for LGBTQ+ people to have a chosen family they can rely on if things go belly (or turkey) up.
