No one runs theme parks like the gays.

Between time-maximizing expertise, thrill-seeking tendencies, weaknesses for merch, and the need to heal by connecting with our inner child, LGBTQ+ people were essentially bred to navigate these spaces.

That’s why the grand opening of Universal Studios Orlando’s brand-new park, Epic Universe, felt like a manageable, if not exceptionally epic, adventure. (Sorry, I had to.)
