They say you never forget your first love, though sometimes those romantic memories aren’t warm nostalgia, but rather the ghost of regret, which can haunt us for the rest of our lives.

That swirl of emotions and feelings are explored in Before We Forget, the new meta romantic drama co-written and co-directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House, The Mattachine Family) and Andrés Pepe Estrada (editor of the Oscar-nominated Argentina, 1985).

Blurring the lines between reality and fiction, Di Pace stars in the film as Matias, a gay Argentine filmmaker in the process of making a semi-autobiographical movie about his own first love.

How about we take this to the next level?
