I’m writing this on the tail end of Pride, still feeling a little raw and out of sorts.

A few years ago, my husband and I were the ones organizing pre-games, after-parties, group costumes — you name it. Pride used to be our absolute favorite weekend. But now we have a two-year-old, and this year looked… very different.
