Wicked director Jon M. Chu reveals which For Good track is a ‘f**king banger’, confirms new songs

Wicked and Wicked: For Good director Jon M. Chu has shared which songs in the musical’s second-half soundtrack are ‘f**ing banger[s]’.

With the first trailer for Wicked‘s second-half adaptation, Wicked: For Good, now flying free, fans of both the stage musical and the film franchise, the latter of which features Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, are clamouring to hear the new adaptations of their favourite tracks.

But while act one of the stage play and 2024’s Wicked features songs like “No One Mourns the Wicked“, “What Is This Feeling?”, “Popular”, and, of course, “Defying Gravity”, it’s fair to say that act two’s soundtrack is a bit sparser in terms of well known tracks.
