Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) claimed in an interview posted Thursday that fellow lawmakers have invited him to attend an orgy and done bumps of cocaine in front of him.
The remarks from the 26-year-old congressman came in the context of a discussion about whether, in “Warrior Poet Society” podcast host John Lovell’s words, “House of Cards” was a “fictitious show” or if it was “closer to like a documentary.”
“The only thing that isn’t accurate about that show is that you could never get a piece of legislation about education passed that quickly,” Cawthorn told Lovell.
“I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life, I’ve always paid attention to politics,” Cawthorn said.
