Doritos has released a new ad celebrating both LGBTQ+ pride and Día de los Muertos, the holiday where Mexican and Latin American communities honor their deceased loved ones.
Doritos Mexico’s new Spanish commercial features a family paying tribute to their deceased Uncle Alberto, who appears as a ghost alongside another man.
“Who is he,” Alberto’s family asks.

“He’s Mario, my partner,” Alberto shares.
The younger members of his family at first share shocked glances, then Alberto’s elderly sister jumps in.
“What a miracle!” she says. “I thought he would be alone forever.”
Alberto and Mario share a loving embrace.
