Mpox cases soar in US as high-risk groups urged to get vaccinated by experts

The country as seen the number of infections double compared to this time last year. While the 2022 outbreak – which saw cases across the country reach 32,000 – is largely over, experts say some high-risk groups should continue taking extra precautions.
